"An artist of the ancestral feminine psyche, singing and speaking
to a heritage and a legacy that may appear lost,
but lives in our bones, bodies, and earth."
~ THE EMBODIED WAY ~

Drumspyder is a San Francisco based percussionist, remixer and producer with a distinctive approach to dance fusion, bringing Mediterranean rhythms and tonalities into the realms of house, mid-tempo bass, and slinky chilled grooves. Infused with middle eastern percussion, his beats cater to the performing bellydancer as well as the global dancefloor. His debut album "Kytheria" was released on Dakini Records in 2010, and his tracks and remixes have appeared on labels such as Six Degrees, Wonderwheel, Desert Trax, and Caravan, in addition to numerous bellydance DVDs.

"Drumspyder's sublime, rhythmically-driven music inspires the body to movement;
he is a musician who plays for dancers.
His beats form the ambrosia from which
The Nekyia's sensual, atavistic style draws nourishment, and I am deeply grateful for our years of collaboration."

Colin Patrick Harper aka Collie Buddz hails from the tiny island of Bermuda. In the music industry, he is known as the reggae artist Collie Buddz. Buddz was born on August 21, 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, he attended Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL, where he decided to study studio engineering. Upon graduating from the top in his class at Full Sail in 2006, Buddz began looking for work in the recording industry as a performer or producer. One of his first major gigs was working with recording star Shaggy on the single "Mad Mad World" from Shaggy's new album at the time entitled Intoxication, which was released in 2007. That was the same year Collie released his self-titled debut album with Sony Music with tracks such as ‘Come Around’ and ‘Blind To You’.  The album was a success and well-received by critics. WWE (World Wrestling Enterprises) fans would immediately recognize Buddz's voice from the entrance theme ("SOS") for WWE superstar wrestler Kofi Kingston, which was included on the 2008 compilation WWE The Music, Vol. 8. Over the next year, he would continue making guest appearances on the works of many other artists.

When not working in the studio, Collie found himself selling out venue after venue on one of his many exhaustive tours.  Now with new music being released and a good reputation under his belt, Buddz finds himself playing at some of the biggest reggae music festivals all across the world such as, Reggae Rise Up, One Love New Zealand, and California Roots Music Festival

Sticks and Stones was written solely by Nelson with the hope of bringing people together at the forefront of his mind, bringing upbeat energy and a sense of fun. Across the album’s twelve spirited tracks, Nelson explores the universal human experiences of love, celebration, longing and humor. Self-produced by Nelson and his longtime band, POTR, Sticks and Stones captures the band’s musical power and fits perfectly alongside the canon of the electric live performances they’re known for.

Reflecting on the record, Nelson shares, “This album is about celebrating the human connection, joy and excitement. We went from quiet and introspective on A Few Stars Apart to something big and fun to really showcase the band’s talent and performance. You can listen to the album Sticks and Stones from start to finish and get the songs to dance to and then the quiet, poignant songs. To me, this album is the perfect setlist.”

Nelson + POTR will continue to tour through this fall including a nine-show run across the UK and Ireland this summer as well as select dates supporting Tedeschi Trucks Band in September. See below for complete tour itinerary.

Since his debut over a decade ago, Texas and Hawaii-based Nelson has played countless sold out shows and festivals and released seven studio albums to date including the latest, 2021’s A Few Stars Apart. Produced by Dave Cobb, the record spent seven weeks at #1 on the Americana Albums chart and received widespread acclaim with Rolling Stone declaring, “His best album yet…Nelson’s most compact, streamlined, and focused album,” while The Tennessean asserted, “a collection of lyrically stirring, musically multifarious and ultimately hopeful roots rock storytelling.”

Additionally, Nelson co-produced the music for 2018’s lauded A Star Is Born film in addition to appearing in the film and went on to win a BAFTA Award for Best Original Music and a GRAMMY Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
