AFRO DEAD is a musical collective formed in 2022 by Aaron Feder (musical director/multi-instrumentalist/producer) to reimagine the music of legendary American roots band, the Grateful Dead, in various African musical styles.
In 2026 the project features Zimbabwean-American singer Lady Chi, best known for her work with Melvin Seals and JGB and the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebrations. The collective takes songs of the psychedelic pioneers The Grateful Dead, and re-arranges them, changing the grooves to afro-pop styles, such as Soukous, Afrobeat, High-Life, Reggae and more.
AFRO DEAD is a musical collective with a rotating cast of musicians and special guests on every stop of their tours; each show is a unique experience, bringing together Deadheads and world music fans wherever they play globally.

Based in the lush hills of Southern Oregon, the duo SugarBeats has consistently amped up their signature sound, utilizing various instrumentalists and vocalists in the studio as well as performing live to pioneer new interpretations of the evolving Future Funk sound.
Supported by The Funk Hunters, Stickybuds, ill.Gates, Opiuo and the All Good Records family amongst many others, SugarBeats has made a name for themselves throughout the festival circuit as well as some of the biggest sound camps at Burning Man. With their hit single “Down To The Science” winning 1st place in the Official USA Songwriting Competition in 2015 and numerous chart topping releases on Beatport, they have been recognized by the community for their forward-thinking and out of the box style. Be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming collaborations, remixes and releases in the future, both near and far!

Dizgo redefines the live experience by blending jamtronica with funk, deep-groove soul, and psychedelic rock, taking the audience on a musical journey that includes intricate compositions and extended improvisation. The result is something both danceable and introspective: soulful vocals, interweaving analog synths and shredding guitar all of which join forces under the banner of Dizgo.
The band has played stand-out performances at festivals such as Peach Music Festival, Summer Camp Music Festival, Resonance Music Festival, Werk Out Music Festival, Sonic Bloom Music Festival, and much more and has supported acts such as Goose, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Papadosio, The Main Squeeze, Aqueous, Lespecial, and more.

Petty Thievery - “Live Concert” Recording Session
Petty Thievery is: Bret Levick (GiftHorse), Alice Di Micele, Gene Black (Joe Cocker), Matthew Kriemelman (Blue Man Group), Jeff Addicott and Mark Thomas (Craig Chaquico). This is a band of veteran musicians who have joined together to honor the music of Tom Petty. Each bring their love for Petty's songs and the music of the Heartbreakers to this fun rock and roll tribute.
These iconic songs are kept alive and fresh and the music is true to the original. Lead vocals are shared by two powerful singers Di Micele and Levick who pour their hearts and souls into the material with conviction. The stunning lead guitar playing of Black buoyed by the rock solid rhythm section makes this band stand out. This is a tribute band who interprets Petty's music as only lifelong professional musicians can: with heart, chops, and a real passion for the music that we all love so much.
We’re going to make this group of talented local favorites a bunch of jam’n media pieces!
